The sequel is inferior, although some have disagreed. Gone is the love story, Jason Bourne's need to prove that he is a changed person, and his need to protect another person. This thriller is a top-notch. I saw it when it originally came out, and just watched it again with girljim, who hadn't. THE BOURNE SUPREMACY followed in 2004, and THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM (2007) is currently in theaters.
